Terms of use

Juanderreel is a personal, free project run by Adrian Jenson that replays real trips on animated maps. By using the site you agree to these terms. They are short because the site is simple.

What you can do here

Watch trip replays, browse photos, share links to trips, and use the free tools (like the photo location check) for personal, non-commercial purposes. Sharing a link to any page is always welcome.

Content and ownership

The photos, videos, and trip write-ups on this site are the site owner’s own work and are protected by copyright. Please don’t copy, republish, or use them elsewhere without permission. Just ask via the email below. Map data is provided by Mapbox and OpenStreetMap contributors under their own licenses.

What not to do

• Don’t scrape the site or bulk-download its photos and videos.
• Don’t hammer the site’s APIs (such as place search) with automated traffic, or otherwise interfere with the site’s operation.
• Don’t try to access the admin area or anything else that isn’t yours.

Access may be blocked for anyone abusing the site. That’s the whole enforcement policy.

The tools are best-effort

The free tools are provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. The photo location check reads whatever location data your photo contains. It can be missing or wrong, so double-check anything important. Routes and distances shown on trip pages are approximate retellings of a journey, not navigation data. Don’t use anything on this site for navigation or safety-critical decisions.

Availability

This is a personal project on a personal budget. The site may be slow, broken, or offline at any time, and may change or shut down without notice. To the extent permitted by law, the site owner is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site. It’s a free trip diary, and your only remedy for being unhappy with it is to stop using it.

Privacy

The site collects almost nothing about you. The details live in the privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated as the site evolves; the date at the top reflects the latest version, and continued use means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
